It's been a great week so far and I have a feeling it's going to stay that way. Me and Jaclyn took a trip up to Mt. Lemmon just for the fun of it. It was about 40 degrees at the top, maybe a little less, but it was definetly worth it. We took a ton of pictures and it was a nice little break away from Tucson and it's weather. We are planning to do a camping trip up there sometime soon before it gets TOO cold. That's something to look forward to. I haven't been camping in over a year. We are also going to get professional pictures taken of us along with Lily before she moves to Germany. I think it's a cute idea and the lady that does them doesn't charge much and is incredible at what she does.
We started tanning a few days ago and I can already see a huge difference! Because I was pregnant this past summer, I didn't really tan much, and when I could, obviously I couldn't lay on my stomach so the front and back of my body were two completly different colors haha.
I'm debating on whether or not to grow out my natural hair color. For everyone that knows me, this is going to be shocking. It's been a long time haha. I'm just tired of having to dye it, etc. It'd be nice to not have to worry about my roots coming in. Then again, I've said this before and end up always dying my hair black. I love my hair black, I just don't have the patience to keep up with it.
Updates on Lily:
She's reaching for objects now and especially loves to grab my phone and put it in her mouth. She plays with her feet and swings her legs in every direction. She also started laughing for my mom the other day. We couldn't get her to do it again until last night. It was the cutest thing I've ever seen. Made me want to cry because I was so happy. She learns something new everyday and is growing up faster than I thought she would. When I put her on her belly for tummy time, she tries her hardest to bring her knees up and get on all fours. I have a strong feeling she'll be an early crawler. Which doesn't bother me one bit. She's holding her head up without looking like a bobble head now. Payday I'm going to buy her a bumbo so that she can sit up and watch cartoons, etc. I had previously said that I was going to start feeding her baby food. I tried a couple of times, but she isn't ready yet, so I'm going to try at 6 months again, which is when pediatricians tell you to do so anyway. Her 4 month check up is coming up on the 24th. I'm excited to see how much she's grown since her last visit. Not too happy that she has to get shots because her last visit was horrible. She was miserable and in pain hours after her shot and I cried because I couldn't take the pain away. I ended up going to get her baby fever relief and it worked like magic. My mom told me to give some to her RIGHT before her next appointment and see if that'll help. I don't think I'll be able to handle seeing her in that much pain again. It's seriously one of the worst feelings in the world. When our children hurt, we hurt.
Anyway, alot has been going on lately, but I'm not in the mood to really blog. I just wanted to type up a quick one for those of you who keep up with it. I'll make another blog probably tomorrow with more pictures, etc.
