Updates

So I decided to re-activate my Facebook so that Mike could see Lily. She's growing so fast and I don't want him to miss out on it. She's always loved taking baths, but now she really loves them. This morning she was smiling from ear to ear and squirming around splashing in the water. She is also starting to laugh. She likes when we hold her in the air like she's flying. It's so cute because she'll open her mouth really big and make funny noises trying to laugh. I didn't think it was possible, but she gets prettier everyday. When I look at her, I'm so thankful to have been given such a precious baby girl. She means more to me than I could ever describe.

Lily's Updates:
I'm going to start feeding her baby food here soon. The only problem is that I'll have to pay out of pocket because WIC doesn't prove it until they are 6 months old to prevent obsesity, etc. But she's almost 4 months old and I think she's ready for it. I'm excited to put her in her high chair and give her different flavors of food and see how she reacts to each one. She is also grabbing for stuff now. Like any other baby, she loves yanking hair. When she has a hold, you have to pry her hand off. She's strong like her mommy haha ;)
She kicks her legs all the time now, so it makes changing her diaper harder and messier. She can even rock herself in her vibrating chair by kicking her legs.
I'm going to go to the mall to get her a gold ring. It's a tradition on my mom's side of the family for babies to wear one, and even though I didn't baptize her Catholic like I was, I'd like to keep some of the family traditions going.

Lily holding her teether for the first time!

I painted her toenails for the first time today.
Now we match :)

This morning my mom woke me up with a phone call. She tried telling me a story, but I kept falling asleep on her so I told her I'd call her back when I was awake. As soon as I got off of the phone with her, Jaclyn called me. I didn't answer the first time, but when she called again, I knew it was important. She had locked her keys in her car and needed me to take her to the shooting range for training. So I put Lily in her carseat and drove half asleep haha.
After her training, I have to drive back to base to pick her up and we have to call to get someone to come unlock her car. We thought last week was bad, and so far this week isn't any better.
I'm going to leave Lily with my mom so we can get that done and then we are going to go tanning and to the gym. I have to go buy a $35 cord for my camera so that I can take more pictures of Lily. It's something I've been needing to do for a while now, but haven't gotten around to doing it.

On my way to my mom's house this morning, I saw one of the worst accidents I've ever witnessed. A car was impatient and trying to pull out of a side road coming onto Irvington when another car slammed into it. The car pulling out was pretty bad, but the one that hit it was so bad that you couldn't get into the car from ANY of the doors. I couldn't even tell you what kind of car it was, it was that bad. The firemen were cutting the car open and putting people on stretchers. It was scary.

Jaclyn's been coming over to help me decorate the house for Halloween. I have a lot more pictures, but only have this one on my computer at the moment:

We are going to get our Halloween costumes this weekend and buy more pumpkins so we can carve them. I just love fall! We go to starbucks about twice a week to try their fall flavors. Our favorite so far is the Salted Caramel. I would reccomend it to anyone! The Pumpkin Spice is also really good :)

I know I keep talking about it, but my birthday is coming up. I'm planning a trip to Phoenix to celebrate with a few of my close friends. We are going to stay there for Halloween weekend because there is always a lot going on in Phoenix for it. We've hear good things and can't wait to check it out for ourselves.

We made reservations for our hotel.
Got a military discount, so it turned out to be a great deal!

I'll probably make another blog today with more pictures of the house as well as a few other things. Just trying to catch up!
