Power Outage

Not much has been going on lately due to the unexpected power outage that lasted over 24 hours. Spent Friday baby shower shopping with Jaclyn and Amy. Got back to Amy's house right before the storm hit. Next thing we knew, the power was out. Played Uno and Phase 10 all night and then I went home. Ended up waking up in the morning to the power still being out. Decided it was best to go to my parent's house because they still had electricity and Lily and I both needed to take baths and eat. Around 8pm or so, the power finally came back on, but I stayed at my parent's house just to be on the safe side. Yesterday (Saturday), I had a friend come over and we sat around and ate and talked. Also got to talk to Mike on the phone for a while, so that was nice. Woke up this morning to another storm, so here I am still at my parent's house. I plan on going back home tonight so that I can go to the post office tomorrow to get my packages that I missed Friday morning.

Really looking forward to my 21st birthday now that I actually have someone to go with :) It will be my first time away from Lily for more than 2 hours, but I know she'll be in safe hands with my family, so even though I'll be thinking about her all night, I don't have to worry. I've already bought my dress; it's one of the packages I have to pick up tomorrow. Hopefully it looks just as good on me as it did on the site, because I know sometimes they don't. Still haven't bought the shoes, but sometime next month, I want to go to the mall to look for red pumps. I'll need to practice walking in them, so that I don't look like I have something stuck up my butt...

I bought Lily's Halloween costume yesterday, and I know I told everyone she was going to be a flower, but I decided I wanted her to be something else. I want it to be a surprise, so I'm not going to say what it is, but when I get it, I'll have to take a picture to show you guys. Halloween has always been my favorite holiday, but even more so now that I have a baby girl to dress up! I'm 50/50 on whether or not I'm going to dress up. With her costume, I can't really match her. I mean I could, but I'd look ridiculous. So I'll probably just dress her up and pass out candy. Not exactly sure on my plans for Halloween. So if anyone has any ideas, let me know :)


Nothing else has been going on in my life, but I would like to leave you guys with a little bit of me venting...
I know it's just facebook, but if someone feels that they have to customize their settings so that I can't see certain posts, etc., then delete me. Simple as that. I won't get butt hurt, I won't message or text you for an explaination. Just go to my page and remove me as your friend. Because obviously I'm not your friend. It's your facebook, so you shouldn't feel as if you need to hide anything from me. I wouldn't do it for you.
**This person was VERY close to me, so it's not like a random person I went to high school with. I feel like that makes a difference for everyone that doesn't know what's going on haha.
