Lily's Professional Pictures

So today was a VERY busy day and there's still stuff that I need to get done! Me and my mom took Lily to get her pictures taken by Bonita Hummel. Lily did fine at first, but we had to feed her mid session and then she got really tired. After that, we went to the ghetto Wal-Mart to get Lily's ears pierced and the lady said that her ear lobes were way too small to be pierced. As if a baby has adult sized ears. Yeah, right. I wansn't giving up, so we drove to the foot hill super Wal-Mart and she got them done with no problem. We got her cute little gold studs with diamonds. She cried after each ear, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I was so nervous I was afraid I'd cry. I bought a bunch of stuff for the house, a few onesies for Lily and stuff to send Mike. I also bought Lily a Jenny Jumper. She's going to have a ball with that!
My parents are going out to celebrate my dad testing for his next rank, so while they're gone, I'm going to pack up most of Mike's things. I still have to go and print off some more pictures to send him tomorrow, though. It's his day off and I had to come to my parent's house to talk to him, because the storm must've messed up the internet and I couldn't get online. I'm hoping he gets on because it's been a few days since I've been able to talk to him.
Jaclyn got us tickets to the U of A game Saturday, so I'm looking forward to that :) She bought us shirts and everything so we can support AZ, or at least pretend to. This is the first time I'm going out and doing something without Lily, other than going to the gym, so I know I'll be thinking about her the whole time. But she'll be with my family for that evening, so I know she'll be okay.
Sometime next month I'm going to start giving Lily some baby food. I'm hoping instead of licking it like she does to everything else, she'll actually EAT it. She's such a trip. Me and Mike have been so blessed to have such a beautiful, healthy and happy baby. She rarely cries, sleeps through the night, and she always has a smile on her face. We are some lucky parents. I think that's all for today. Now I'm going to post a couple of the pictures from her photoshoot today. Enjoy! :)
