Cosmotology School

What to blog about? A few little updates on Lily. If she wanted to, she'd be crawling by now, but when shes on all fours, she lifts her butt up and tries to stand up. I wouldn't be surprised if she skips crawling. That girl is always wanting to stand up.

She has an appointment on the 31st to get some more shots. Probably my least favorite part about being a mom. I have to sit there and help hold her down while she gets shots and it just breaks my heart to see her in pain. I'm not looking forward to it, but I know it's in the best interest of her :)


Mike starts work back up tomorrow. He's going to be working mids, so it's going to suck not having a lot of help with Lily. But that's part of being a military wife and mother. Sacrafice is the biggest ingredient in a military marriage haha.


Some big news now! I applied online to recieve more information on a beauty school here in Tucson and they called probably not even an hour after that. They asked me a bunch of questions and today I have an appointment to take a tour of the school and talk to an advisor. I've always loved doing hair and even took it in highschool. For a long time, it was what I wanted to do. So I figured why not now? I can't get a job here because they only need hair stylists and nurses. So I think it's the perfect idea. Once I get my license, I can work part-time until Lily's in school and then I can work full-time if I choose too. The good thing about going to a cosmotology school, is that you can gain clientele before you even have your license. Plus I'll be able to meet girls around my age and already know we share a common interest :) All in all, I'm ready and can't wait to get started. Hopefully everything goes as planned and I can start as soon as possible!
