Recent Updates

Happy Halloween!

Lots going on lately. I decided it's the perfect time to go back to school, so that's exactly what I'm doing. I went to the pima office on base and told them what I wanted to do. Tomorrow morning I have my placement test and then I can sign up for classes. I'd love to get a part-time job on top of that, but I think it'd be too much and I'd be overwhelmed. We'll see.

Updates on Liliana haven't changed much other than the fact that she talks soooo much. Obviously she's not saying words, it's a bunch of screeching and gurgling. It's funny though. She wouldn't even let me sleep this morning because she was so loud! Seems like she's growing up too fast that I can't even keep up with her. I went to Wal-Mart with my mom earlier and we bought her a bunch of stuff. She's starting to eat a little bit of baby food/crackers, so we got some of that. Because it's getting colder, I got her some more socks. I found a long-sleeved onsie for Christmas. When I saw it, I couldn't stop laughing and just had to get it. It says "Mommy's Little Elf" on the front. For all of you that know. She has pointy ears like me and I call her my ginger elf. So it's ironic that I was able to find something like that. Can't wait to put her in it and take pictures :)

I also got a runner for the bottom of the stairs. The floors in base housing get cold so easily, so I'm trying to cover up as much of the floors as I can. If you've been in my house, you know that I'm not much of a decorater lol. My walls are empty and I've been in the process of decorating them. So I got some picture frames today to put all the pictures I've had printed for a while in. And more candles. My house is always full of candles. I got a couple today and tomorrow I'm going to take a trip to Bath & Body Works to get some more.
